Encouragement Prayer for a Friend 2022
When the integrity of God’s word looks to be tested, loved ones leave, and relationships threaten to fall apart, the Savior is only a prayer away. He does not respond to our prayers for encouragement and strength with explanations. He arrives in the form of His real presence, bringing calm into our hearts.
“Dear God, I lift my wonderful friend to you and give thanks for their friendship. Please watch over them and guide their paths. Pour out your spirit upon them, May they receive fresh hope for their lives. Brush away their concerns, disappointments and hurts. Open their eyes anew to your promises. Stir up their faith to retake risks. May they be fully engaged with each moment. Lord, please come and bless my dear friends’ life, plans and dreams. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
“Dear Lord, I bring my friend before you this day. You have always been faithful; remind them of your faithfulness today. Please help them to trust you. Give them hope and strength in the days ahead. Remind them that they are yours and you have a plan and purpose for their life. Bring words of life to their lips as they speak to others. Despite any hardships they might be facing right now, help with a song of praise in their heart, knowing you are with them. Encourage and give them strength today. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
“Father, I pray for a friend going through trying times. Lord, please strengthen and encourage their heart. God, show them that you are always near and caring for them, not allowing them to stay alone in a difficult situation. Let’s their faith in Christ don’t shake, show them that these trials are for a good purpose, and one day they come out of a problematic situation giving you all the glory and praise. I pray through Christ Jesus our Lord, Amen.”
